On June 1st, 2007 new legislation comes into force that requires every house brought to market in England & Wales to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). It will be the culmination of years of debate over how best to tackle rising emissions from households throughout Europe.

The legislation is already in place in other parts of Europe, and the underlying thinking is that by making small improvements to the efficiency of every house we can make a big overall difference to the emission levels throughout the EU.

EPC Professional Energy Assessors was founded by a Lincs based businessman, property investor and landlord who not only had to comply to this new government legislation in his professional capacity but also because of the fact that he himself is very “environmentally aware” and wishes to be seen as contributing to the “green agenda”.

In addition to providing our required and cost effective Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) related services to home sellers, vendors and estate agents, we offer our services to anybody who is interested in reducing their energy costs whilst reducing their environmental footprint (the amount of carbon released into the environment).
