3. Prepare for energy assessment:
• Agree and confirm instructions to undertake an energy assessment
• Make enquiries on relevant matters relating to the property
4. Undertake energy inspections:
• Inspect property to determine energy performance
• Make records of inspection findings
5. Produce and explain EPC’s:
• Produce EPC’s
• Issue EPC’s and explain their contents

Fees
The market demand for Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) is expected to be very high as it will be a legal requirement in order to sell almost every house or flat in the UK.
We know of some companies who have set assessment fees to average at around £150 per energy assessment – some opportunity seekers have been charging up to £1,000.

We at EPC Professional Energy Assessors charge a flat rate of £100 (+VAT) per assessment. **
